As a professionally trained educator, Jennifer has decades of experience working with adults and children as an instructor of Spanish at the college level and as a private tutor and developed diverse programming for public housing residents where residents earned GEDs and acquired other skills needed to transition out of poverty.

Jennifer has been actively involved with helping her Central New York community by volunteering with the Newland Center for Adult Learning and Literacy and with PEACE Inc., preparing free tax returns for low-income clients.

While her campaign for County Legislature is Jennifer’s first run for office, she has been  involved extensively with campaigns such as Dana Balter for Congress and Rachel May for State Senate.  She is a committee member and Treasurer of the Town of Dewitt Democratic Committee.

When she’s not working to make her community a better place for residents to live, Jennifer enjoys gardening, reading, and knitting socks for her mother and friends, among other things.

Jennifer looks forward to developing a more transparent county government and earnestly pursuing ways to use county resources for the betterment of all county residents.
